Electric Grills question by 100% Pinay: what is the best way to grill? using a coal or the electric grill?

Electric Grills best answer:

Answer by Joey
Definately coal, apart from being far more traditional, the coal gives the meat flavour. Electric is easier as you don’t have as much tidying up, but you masewell just put whatever you wish you cook underneath the grill in your kitchen. There is nothing more satisfying that createing a coal barbeque, then roasting things on it. Simple pleasures ☺

coal is best but ollow some instructions

Cleaning the grill before each use reduces the bad smoke that can leave a bad taste on foods.
Never add lighter fluid to burning coals. Even if there is no flame the heat will vaporize the lighter fluid and can cause a serious flame up the second the vapor encounters a flame.

it depends ..

1) Do you mind cleaning up ?
2) Are your guest those high society people or regular folks?
3) Is setting up a coal grill a tough task to you ?
4) would you mind the smoke or holding on to dirty coal?

if your answer is NO to 1,2 and 4 ,,,and your guest or regular folks… by all means choose the coal!!!! it is more FUN..but more work…

however if your answer is YES to more than 1/2 the questions ..then you got to choose the electric gril..

have fun grilling….

Coal makes food taste better but electric is easier and cleaner.

Coal infuses a nice smoky flavor. That’s why steak houses like the LONGHORN or fast food joints like Burger King are so popular. There foods are grilled. If you know someone who is a gadget guru then go for the electric grill because they will never enjoy the low and slow bbq on a coal grill.

the coal for sure .. ! the meat or the chicken will tatse diffrently .. its bit harder .. but it worth it … and if you have the time .. marinade the meat/chicken for a long time .. like one day earlier .. it gives you the best taste and moist and juices .. ! thats what i think .. and try to cut them all the same size and flatend .. not a lumppy pieces so it can cook evenly !

Being a cook-off competitor from Texas, I guess we might have different views on this subject than many of you in other parts of the world….BUT….I prefer to start my fire with charcoal….and add wood to get the fire hot..and to cook with. Many different varieties of wood are used based on the type of food that is being prepared. I use oak if I want a hot fire….and add either fruit wood or pecan to inject flavor into my “creations”
Electric, you ask?….I have never found a use for it…sorry.
Come over this weekend…I’ll make you cry with pleasure…hee hee
