Buyer’s Guide to Electric Grills and How to Get Affordable Prices
Electric Grills

Purchasing outdoor electric grills can be an overwhelming task once you consider all the factors involved including the price, features and other necessities. However, once you know exactly what to look for then this process isn’t so difficult after all. The following are tips to helping you get started in finding you the right electric grill and how to get them at affordable prices.

Keep in mind that you will most likely be keeping the grill for many years so any extra costs for additional features will almost always be worth it. Be sure that the grill you choose is easy to assemble especially if you choose to a portable one as you don’t want to waste time just setting up. Cleaning up should also be made easy so you may want removable plates and a nonstick surface.

Another nice feature to have is a dome lid as this will circulate the hot air so that the meat is evenly cooked and juicy when you cook it. The benefit of electric grills is that you won’t have to handle light fluid as this can cause serious injuries if it is not handled properly. One final factor to consider is the size which is ultimately up to you depending on how many people you expect to serve.

Getting affordable prices on electric grills is as simple as comparing prices online or shopping at online retail stores or even auction sites. You can also shop at clearance sales at your local department stores when they need to make room for new inventory. Be sure to keep these above factors in mind when choosing a grill for the home and family.

Electric Grills question by Thomasz: How do I fix my electric grill?
My electric grill (on my TEBA oven/grill/hob unit) has stopped working. It seemed to blow the other day (smelt burning) and hasn’t worked since.

This is an all in one machine (grill is in same compartment as oven, element at top).

Any help much app’d!

Where do I check fuses and elements for the grill
Yeah not too helpful, that one Bob. Didn’t actually answer my Q at all, did you?

Sounds bad for the grill, it will probably cost more than it is worth.

You mean the grill element in the oven? The element is likely just out. That is the most common failure.

If a free standing unit you unplug it and then you should be able to take the hanger loose and a couple of screws holding the back end of the element in place and pull it forward to ohm out the element that is likely open. If open replace it.

This is providing there is enough loose wire to pull it forward to access and replace it. But if not then you have to remove the back to check and take loose the wiring there. Sometimes the connectors need replacing as they don’t take the heat forever either.

Good Luck.
