Small Gas Grills

Gas grills are considered by many to be the most convenient way to grill but unfortunately this usually means giving up great smoky flavor for convenience. The charcoal companion smoker box features a v-shape bottom which allow it to sit between the flame deflector bars of most gas grills. This positions the smoke right beneath the food grate for the most intense smoke flavor. Durable, nonstick coated metal smoker box has hinged lid and is reusable. Add wood chips of your flavor choice and place between the flame deflector bars on the gas grill. (wood chips not included)

Small Gas Grills question by Quack!: How to clean a gas grill?
My Weber brand gas grill is coughing. It’s got two burners, and when you light it, the fire is supposed to spread over to both burners. However, that does not happen. I thought the small holes that inject the gas were blocked so I used a steel brush trying to open them but that did not help. Now I think the gas pipe is blocked, so I’m wondering how to remove the blockage. Any ideas?

It is possible for the flexible line that is just before it feeds into the burner to be plugged by spider webs or a spider egg sac. I had that happen last fall. Just be careful, would ya? I saw a propane explosion once, wasn’t pretty.

Actually, it was pretty, just dangerous.

try using a needle.
in my country (Brazil) there are some special needle to do this job, but try to improvise using a fine needle, or try to use only one of the wires from the steel brush’s head

that happened to mine before and i just cleaned the cob webs around it with a wire brush and soapy water. then dried it off with propane torch that also burned the remaining webs and other stuffs that blocked the small holes. it worked for me before…hopefully it will work for you too. just be VERY careful that you do not have open gas leaks when you lit up the torch. take care
